In collaboration with and commissioned by Grefsenkollen restaurant. Plateau facilitates the presentation of dishes in a buffet setting. At the same time, Plateau incorporates the outdated tableware the restaurant cherishes, bringing pieces of history back into the restaurant.

In the sanding process, I worked my way up through levels from coarse paper to polishing. The pieces were treated with a surface coating. It impregnates the plates, making it easy for the restaurant to clean them.
A quantity of tableware can accumulate as leftover material in some restaurants. This may be due to conflicts with hygiene and food safety, such as chips and damages in the porcelain. The tableware can also become outdated and not suit 'today's dishes
